Little Tokyo

We any to little Tokyo this weekend with David's brother. It was so much fun! We ate at our favorite ramen placed called Orochon :) Then we went downtown and window shopped at all the stires.. they has wishing trees everywhere! It was so awesome seeing them, they are so festive!

Missing him

I definitely miss David a lot! He comes home tomorrow though... It has been nice having him gone because I have been reading a lot which is so not me.... I NEVER read, which is very sad.

My sister is hopefully coming to stay the night with me... I am very excited!

I was introduced to the book Radical by David Platt from the worship leader at the church I attend. This book is changing my view of Jesus... Its literally jacking me up. Its making me sick how I have turned God into someone easier for me to follow. Someone like myself. The change starts NOW!

disneyland

So excited we got to go to Disneyland this weekend... It was a well needed date! We ate at Blue Bayou and it was just perfect... Other than the fact that we wish the food was better! Now I am not saying it was bad just not worth the money lol. We will not be eating there again.

David is at summer camp this week and it had been very lonely at our house.. its weird not having him there. I can't wait for him to come home but it sounds like thy are having a blast!

Here is a picture of my hair! I got a Brazilian Blowout and i love it! I no longer have to blow dry or straighten my hair! Its super shiny, silky and awesome! Go get one! it lasts up to 4 months =]

Random...

I painted our bathroom and redecorated it this past weekend... i love it! its a lot brighter than we were expecting but it is something fun! I also got to put up my Alice in Wonderland paintings.

I am so excited about my new guitar... Breedlove is amazing! I needed a new one for performing on stage. Finally i am leading worship! Took me long enough to actually want to do it but man has it been an awesome blessing! I am growing and learning so much =] I love my Olive Branch family!

Many people don't know this... but i love Demi Lovato! Yes, i am almost 21 and she is only 18 but there has always been something i have liked about her since i saw her on Camp Rock... uh oh did i just confess to watching that? ohhh darn. Anywho, check out her new single Skyscraper on itunes... its number one right now!

.....LONG TIME

Well since the last time I posted ALOT has happened! In October of 2010 I got engaged to the amazing man below.. and we got married on March 27th! Went on my honeymoon, got a new job, changes my last name and moved into a new place =] So i guess I have been a little busy.

God is funny! He makes you do the most random things.. I have realized alot lately. I am terrified of moving once again back to California but I have so much peace. Alabama has been my home and my biggest growing place! I have learned the most about myself, my needs and my Father.

Today has been listening to this song on repeat its so simple, beautiful and pure.

Abba, I belong to you.

How magnificent it is to know that Jesus changed the world by one word.. "Father" He is now our father and our place of belonging. Our king loves us so much and it thrills me to know what He has done not only in my life recently but how He has connected me to show His love in others lives.

He is doing something crazy in me and i am so excited to see where He takes me. Blessed is His name!

The future i have ahead of me is filled with hope and joy once again! (something i have been lacking) He has covered me in His mercy and reminded me how great He is!

frustrated... but i know God has a plan. Today i found out that there was absolutely no class i could take at UNA online in the fall BUMMER! why did the business building have to open back up? lol So i guess i am just going to have to find a school to attend by the fall in California that is within my budget... wait? yeah um thats not going to work! As of right now i dont have a job therefore no way to pay for school.. GOD! i need your peace! I know for a fact Gods will will be unveiled to me when i return home and the part of uncertainty is what Faith is all about..

To be quite honest i know what my life is right now is nothing God intended it to me.. Maybe its a growing faze.. a time of learning and understanding! i just know i am not involved in anything right now and my passion is to be so involved in what Gods doing somewhere... I am in the loneliest state i have ever been but something inside me keeps pushing!

Our God is so amazing! Even though i have no one to talk to i have my Father! and He listens and comforts me! His plans are so much better than any others i have had for myself. I cant wait to see what God has in store for me on my return home.. i cant wait! i am so anxious its ridiculous! I wish i could have left yesterday!
